#FLOODTHESTREETS for John Crawford 2/1/15 11 a.m. in Minneapolis with ANONYMOUS

6:28 PM

ANONYMOUS has organized a national event called #FLOODTHESTREETS to demand Justice for John Crawford, who was executed by police in Beaver Creek, Ohio. The blatant excess in this case was captured on store cameras.

This event is happening February 1 at 11am nationwide. A promotional bundle with various print and web outputs can be downloaded through the following link:

In The Twin Cities, this event will be held at the Midway Wal-Mart. The Address is 1450 University Avenue, Saint Paul, MN. There is also a Facebook event page.

Can't get to the location? No problem. Get people together and be seen at your local neighborhood WalMart. The message should go out everywhere.

ifoughtthelaw.info has been asked to be a platform for this event, providing details and updates. As such, from now until February 1, there will be no new articles posted unless they contain updates or other information relevant to the event. Of course, past articles are still available on this site, feel free to read them and learn a thing or two about the subject of police brutality.

John Crawford was shot dead in a WalMart in Beaver Creek, Ohio after picking up a pellet gun which he intended to buy. He was then shot dead by police while talking on the phone after a customer called 911 claiming John Crawford was pointing a gun at people. The man has since recanted, saying that "at no time did John Crawford shoulder or point the gun at anyone". When police showed up, they shot John Crawford dead with no warning, according to witnesses and in-store video. A detailed video with the 911 audio shows that Crawford was indeed not behaving in a threatening manner at all. A second person, Angela Williams, died of a heart attack caused by the shooting.

Some cases are harder for us to argue than others. Many aren't. This one is definitely in the latter category. The man was carrying an unloaded toy gun that he intended to purchase, in an open-carry state. Video shows him being gunned down with no time to comply with warnings that may not have even been given, while holding the toy harmlessly at his side. Basically, the new standard is that if someone decides they don't like you and calls 911, don't expect the police to apply proper critical thought or proper procedure when they come for you. One 911 call out of ignorance or spite, and you are dead. That is scary as hell. Statistically, this is also much more likely to happen if you're black. That is disturbing as hell.

Most importantly, The officers are not being punished for an action that would have put you or I on the fast track to the death penalty. This is the heart and soul of our struggle against police brutality: the blatant lack of accountability in police culture. Most of us are not actually anti-cop. We are anti-bad cop. The protests will continue until said bad cops are disciplined.

ifoughtthelaw.info is merely providing the official platform for the Midway gathering of this event. In no way does ifoughtthelaw.info claim credit for any of the organizing. NOBODY owns this event, except Anonymous-and Anonymous has no sponsors. Be very wary of any group, business, or person putting their own agenda front and center at this event.

Masks-particularly Guy Fawkes masks-are encouraged, but in no way necessary. Local party supply and costume stores are being notified to stock up on masks for anyone who wishes to purchase one for this event. Assemble on the sidewalk on University Avenue in front of WalMart. There will be local Anons clearly marked in a fashion that will be communicated the morning of the event who will provide guidance and reveal the day's plan. Until then, the plan is being kept close. Things will be revealed to us at the proper time. Stay tuned to this site and @ifoughtthelaw8 on Twitter for updates as they are revealed to the admins of this site.

This worldwide release by Anonymous:

Dear Citizens of the World,
It has come to our attention that Beavercreek Officer Sean C. Williams has murdered a young, innocent, black man named John Crawford III, while he shopped at Walmart.
As a result of the gun fire, Angela D. Williams had a heart attack & died. These two innocent people should be alive today.
This injustice will not go unnoticed.
The no indictment of the officer responsible has only furthered the indictment a broken system, a system that's time has come to a close.
Because of this, we have taken matters into our own hands.
With the start of #FloodTheStreets, We are bringing an end to this current police state.
We are calling for a mass protest on February 1st to show support against this tragedy caused by our own public servants.
Starting at your local Walmart at 11:00PM EST, we will begin to flood the streets, all day, in an act of peaceful civil disobedience.
Until the grip of the police force has loosened, our grip grows tighter.
That is not a threat.
That is a promise.
This is not a fad, we are not going away.
The mass protests will continue.
The shut downs will continue.
This is only the beginning.
We are Anonymous.
We are Legion.
We do not Forgive.
We do not Forget.
Expect Us.
